Your opportunity to develop incarnational leadership with Dr. Tod Bolsinger, Vice President and Chief of Leadership Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary, happens at this year’s National Gathering: Steeple to Street: Leadership in a New Mission Era.
About Tod Bolsinger
Sometimes in religious academia, a disconnect occurs. A disconnect that leads to a split between knowledge about God and knowledge of God, especially as the latter relates to knowing Him through others. But Dr. Bolsinger’s understanding of God gives little place to a knowledge of God without incarnation and relationships, whether inside or outside the Church. In fact, it’s Dr. Bolsinger’s passion for good scholarship and formal learning that rejects the idea that we can really know God without living relationally at the mission edge.
Combined with his deep executive coaching experience, Dr. Bolsinger’s comprehensive experience consulting faith communities and nonprofit organizations blends with his academic roles to provide those looking to learn and practice contextual ministry with effective ways of engaging their communities.
Dr. Bolsinger’s credentials include serving as Vice President for Vocation and Formation at Fuller Theological; serving as Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Fuller Theological; ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA); pastoring San Clemente Presbyterian Church; serving as Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood; obtaining a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate in Theology, both from Fuller Seminary.
When Dr. Bolsinger is not busy practicing or teaching mission-edge theology, he can be found writing and spending time with his wife Beth and their two children in Los Angeles, California.
