Wesley

Missional is nothing new. The Missio Dei is the driving force at the heart of every great missionary and renewal movement throughout the church history.

What can we learn from the way Wesley was on mission that can impact how we live on mission today?

This free webinar will feature Dr. Winfield Bevins, Director of the Asbury Church Planting Initiative and Canon for Church Planting for the Diocese of the Carolinas.

The webinar will begin at 12pm EST on Monday, April 13. Register here.

From Dr. Bevin’s website:

Dr. Bevins experience includes planting churches, training church planters from different denominational backgrounds, and developing innovative resources for planting and re-missioning churches. He frequently speaks at conferences and retreats on a variety of topics.

As an author, one of his passions is to help contemporary Christians connect to the historic roots of the Christian faith. His book Our Common Prayer offers a refreshing alternative to our postmodern world by helping us reconnect to the historic prayers of the Christian faith.

His writings have appeared in numerous places such as Christianity Today, Gospel Coalition, and Exponential. He and his wife Kay, have three girls Elizabeth, Anna Belle, and Caroline. He loves to surf, paint, and take long walks in nature with his family. On any given day, he can be found at the local coffee shop reading a book or talking with others about life and faith.

Asbury Seminary is a co-sponsor of our Vision Day in Lexington, Kentucky on April 24.
