What is your real problem, and how can God help you break through it? In this session Dr. Dee Stokes will help you move beyond a general sense of anxiety, mourn your pain and loss, and identify particular issues you can address with God’s help.

10-10:30am ET

Envisioning a Creative Life

It’s easy to get so stuck in our day-to-day lives that we lose sight of God’s creative power. In this session, Mitch Marcello will help you understand what it means to serve a creative God, and explore what a more creative life might look like.

Tools for Everyday Creativity

You aren’t stuck! There are opportunities all around us, but sometimes we can’t see them. Mitch Marcello will introduce you to a number of creativity and innovation tools that will you can use to expand your horizons every day.

What if you could come up with not just one solution to your problem, but dozens? Mitch Marcello will guide you through a mind-expanding exercise that will help you uncover an abundance of opportunities to change your life.

Creating Your Action Plan

New creative ideas are great. But how do you implement them in real life? Dr. Dee Stokes will help you develop a tangible plan for applying some of the new ideas you have unearthed so you can break through in 2023.

Live Coaching + Q & A

What does it look like to come up with new ideas and make a plan to implement them? In this session, Dee and Mitch will guide one individual in applying the exercises introduced in this workshop. This will be followed by a time of Q & A for all participants.

3:30-4pm ET

Breakthrough Prayer Session

How do we pray for breakthrough? In this closing session, Dr. Stokes will help you better understand breakthrough prayer, and guide participants in a prayer of breakthrough for their own lives.

Meet Your Guides

Dr. Dee Stokes is an entrepreneurial minister, educator, and consultant who is known as a program builder. She serves on the teaching and preaching team at Christ Wesleyan Church, Greensboro, NC, and is the Director of Multicultural Ministry for the NC East District of The Wesleyan Church. Director of the Seeds Project for Luther Seminary’s Faith + Lead innovation team. She uses her considerable experience as a coach, educator and pastor, to help leaders develop emotional intelligence, overcome burnout and more.

Mitch Marcello

Mitch Marcello is founder and Director of Imago Innovation, and is Mission Strategist & Innovation Specialist with Fresh Expressions. Understanding that we are called to create, he is passionate about helping unlock creative potential in individuals, teams, and churches, assisting Christian leaders to apply tools for innovation to mission and ministry. Mitch holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts and Artist Diploma from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Masters Degree in Creativity and Innovation from Drexel University.
